Lady Gaga divulgou em seu perfil no Twitter a letra do primeiro single de seu novo álbum, Born This Way.
A cantora, que já estava engajada na luta a favor dos direitos das minorias, especialmente dos homossexuais, fez praticamente um manifesto em forma de canção, incentivando seus fãs a se aceitarem como são e a tolerarem a diversidade sexual.
“Não seja uma pessoa ‘pesada’, seja apenas uma rainha (trocadilho com drag queen). Não importa se você é branco, negro, bege, libanês, oriental, não importa quantos obstáculos a vida impôs a você, seja feliz e ame a si mesmo, porque você nasceu assim”, escreveu ela.
“Não importa se sou gay, hetero, bi, lésbica ou transgênero, eu estou no caminho certo, nasci para sobreviver e para ser forte”, continuou Gaga.
A faixa foi composta por Lady Gaga e produzida por ela ao lado de Fernando Garibay e DJ White Shadow. O álbum Born This Way chega às lojas no dia 23 de maio.
