Além de Cavill, Man of Steel tem no elenco Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent, a mãe adotiva do super-herói), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent, o pai adotivo), Russell Crowe (Jor-El, o pai biológico), Ayelet Zurer (Lara Lor-Van, a mãe biológica), Christopher Meloni (Coronel Hardy), Harry Lennix (General Swanwick), Antje Traue (a vilã Faora) e Michael Shannon (o vilão General Zod).
A estreia está prevista para 14 de junho de 2013.
